For years, I have traveled to return to the heart of these mountains.
Facing the Jungfrau, the Eiger and the Mönch, in the Swiss Bernese Oberland.

The presence of these mineral giants has shaped my unconscious for as long as I can remember. They live within me — both demanding, through their unsettling immensity that could erase us, and nurturing, offering a quiet strength, enveloping us with the energy of an ancestral mother.

These views allow the mind to wander, to reconnect with a primitive force, and to absorb a form of mystical beauty.

Photography becomes a way of listening — of standing still long enough to let the mountain speak. This is a silent place, although something older than language persists.
