After graduating from Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Marion delved into various artistic mediums, including photography, ceramics, and painting. Following her experiences in prominent cities like Wyoming, Düsseldorf, and Buenos Aires, she relocated to the southwest of France, settling in Saint-Vincent-de-Tyrosse. Here, she embarked on an artistic project within her ancestral residence, Merveille.

I met Marion as I was commissioned to produce a photographic report for Magazine Point de Vue, documenting the transformation she initiated of this residence with multiple artists’ studios. She later invited me to create a short film to accompany the exhibition As Above So Below, together with Anna Vogel, presented at Achenbach Hagemeier Gallery in Berlin, 2021. I spent several days working in her studio, crafting a film shaped by her gestures, her rhythm and her way of inhabiting the space.

In the Sirene series is a research of forms and glazes inspired by meditations and visualizations related to the theme of aquatic submergence. The visions are then shaped in clay and glazed at high temperature.
