éditions du coté is both a gallery and a publisher of furniture and art objects, committed to showcasing local craftsmanship in the Basque Country. We collaborated on the creation of numerous visual pieces aimed at capturing the artisans’ work and the research carried out by the artists involved in crafting unique pieces. My role was to trace the story behind the making of these works—shaped by the rich environment of the Basque region, which served as fertile ground for the imagination of all contributors.

Between Bordeaux, Pau, Biarritz, and Bilbao, éditions du coté seek out the finest talents across various trades. Through different collections, they foster collaborations with local and international artists to create truly unique art objects.

Ondulations is the title of their latest collection. Five artists explore the many meanings of Ondulations, delving into both local and universal connotations.

For this project, I worked alongside MArc-Alexandre Ducoté for several months, documenting the dialogue between artists and artisans—before and during the creation process, and throughout the exhibition. This was done through photography and a series of films, including the collection film Ondulations. More films are available upon request or on the Editions Ducoté website.
