Agathe Toman is a multidisciplinary artist — painter, illustrator, photographer, and contemporary poet. After studying at the prestigious École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne and spending several years working as a fashion designer, she then devoted herself fully to artistic creation.

At the time of these projects, black was the very essence of her creative work. She used pure pigments and acrylics to create dizzyingly intense paintings, and hypnotic drawings rendered with a simple Bic pen. These formed the core of her visual language — an abstract and poetic world now enriched by her own writing.

We collaborated during a few years and for multiple projets. This film was created for « The Bird » exhibition.
